And we're off...

Tonight E and I will be departing on a grand adventure. The two of us will be flying to Rhode Island to visit my family. E will get to meet her great grandparents, her uncle B, the people I grew up with, and some of my very best friends.

We'll (meaning me) have ice cream at Wood's. We'll (again with the meaning me) enjoy fresh Lebanese and Portuguese food. We'll visit the ocean. We'll go for walks by gorgeous old homes.

We just have to fly there. Almost 6 hours in a plane. Flying the red eye. In a middle seat.

Pray for us.

  1. I've never had a problem flying with my babies. It'll go great! I'm sure you've heard this advice, but nursing during take off and descending is good for their ears.
Every time I've ever flown I always end up sitting next to a random guy which makes nursing tricky but nobody has ever said a word (and believe me they'd get an earful if they had!)

  2. I hate to be the one to tell you this but Wood's is closed for the season.
