Baby training...

Daddy and E have developed a sleepy time tradition. When the girl is having trouble falling asleep, Daddy will cuddle her in the comfy black chair, rocking and singing. Rock-a-bye time.

There are times E is not a fan of this plan. She's too young to truly appreciate naps. She'll pick her head up from Daddy's shoulder to see what else is going on.

Recently they've come to an agreement. Daddy pats his shoulder and she flops back down, sometimes giving him a sassy look on the way down. But she goes. Every time. Just a couple shoulder pats. And Daddy keeps singing and rocking.
