Matthew and I had a lovely baby shower hosted for us this past Saturday by our pals Vanessa, Lena and Melissa. It was a gorgeous day for a party in the park- the girls decorated one of the pavilions at Victory Park and we enjoyed tasties from the grill and loads of delicious pot-luck sides and deserts. The weather was perfect- sunny but with a nice breeze. Our blog owls even made an appearance as part of the favors.
It was a wonderful to spend time with friends and family. My mum and aunt made the trip in for shower- Mum from RI and Aunt Liz from Modesto. We have truly been blessed with some loving and generous friends. Thank you to all of you who made the day so great!
